Driving to the train station this morning, I got tagged on my right side door by an old guy in a blue dodge ram. Now I can't open my passenger side door. I'm not inmjured, it was a low speed collision on city streets, but my door is now sprung, and not openable.

My drivers' side door *lock* is fucked up, so I can't open it with a key. Now, if I lock that door, I can't get into the car. A locksmith and some WD 40 later, and my drivers' side lock works.

Edit: got the drivers' side lock fixed, but it turns out that the done light(s) are stuck *ON*. I can't see the fuses in the fuse box to pull the right one. I did remove the bulbs from the two overhead dome lights. A guy from work helped me by looking up the fuse location, and then crawling in and pulling the right fuse.

Additional inspection shows that the door is creased in, the front quarter panel is dented in behind the wheel well, and the lower frame under where the door is is pushed up, and the door is essentially tilted in at the bottom, and wedged by the frame.

But does she have comprehensive on an old car? I never did.

Good news about fixing the driver's side lock and finding a do-around with the dome lights.

Sigh. Poor Ravan.
