Hist-ory!

So, I have a large uterine fibroid, and an ovarian cyst. It's made my last few periods *worse* than usual. Two weeks ago I was cramping and flooding for two days straight.

I had my consult today about what to do about it. There are partial measures that might solve the problem, but it could re-occur. So I'm having a historectomy by laparoscope on Nov 16, and the pre-op is Nov 8. The bad thing is that the doc insists that it will be 6 weeks before I can return to work. Merry Christmas to me!

The best thing? Even though the clinic also did fertility and stuff, No Bingo! Zero, zilch, zip.

I hope to have my tampon burning party in December... ;-)

That's disturbing about the six weeks (although I know you could use the rest), but otherwise--great.

I'd have been pretty appalled if they bingoed you even tho you are a spring chicken compared to me. On the other hand, in this crazy world and given your youthful appearance . . .
