Well, I didn't have to go in to the office this weekend. So it was time to plant strawberries, and things. We left for the nursery at 9:30, and didn't get to actually mucking inb the garden until 1:00. We finished about 6.
We have a lot of strawberries, some cherry tomatos and roma tomatos, a garlic plant, sweet basil, a stevia plant, and we dropped some onion sets in the ground. We also potted a mint plant.
The ground was not terribly cooperative, we had to break up, de-rock, weed, and mix organic potting mix into the area we were going to plant in. Needlesss to say, we are (all three of us) a bit achy tonight.
Next sunday I get to put the fertilizer spikes in.

You guys did a good job. You are making me homesick for a place I've never seen. Love ya! My back and knees won't let me get down to garden anymore. Mr. Itis, first name Arthur and too much lifting with my back have left me able to do stuff from knees to eyes and not much above or below that range without paying dire consequences to the body.
All my chores are done. I learned how to get my DSl modem to behave on Friday so I am catching up on my email and all that this weekend. G'ma lost your phone number, again. I will have to write it very big, again and maybe she will call you.

They sell these nifty little carts that let you sit down while gardening. Neither
a forkliftmajor assistance. So we got two, of a height we can stand up from. What hurts on me is my arm. Hoeing and raking with one arm is a lot of work, especially for that arm...
