2003 was both good and bad.
Good because I became gainfully employed in February, after a hiatus of 20 months.
Bad because one of my roomies died in May, and a couple of friends have lost close family.
Good because I paid off at least one bill.
Bad because I had to have a lot of $$ dental work done.
Good because I bought a few toys for myself.
Bad because I had to spend a lot on deferred car maintenance.
I would really like a better 2004 - far fewer deaths (like none?) and far better political landscape at the end.
