Our other cat, Coalette, had to be put to sleep Wednesday due to stage 5 kidney disease. Her sister, Speckles, died in December of the same thing. I am very sad, since we've lost the two littermates within 6 months of each other. They were both 16.

I've lost cats to the same thing. We even did the subcutaneous fluids, renal diet, chicken-flavored aluminum hydroxide antacid, and frequent fresh water to keep them comfortable when they still lived. No matter what, we cried when they went to RB.
