Well, we finally got all of the PRs folded, stickied, and labelled. Now we get to manually zip code sort the damned things because the fucking mail merge didn't grab the sorted data, only the older partly sorted data. (It probably pulled from the *saved* version of the file, not the active one that was sorted.)

We still have to find out the hoops that the post awful demands we go through, or if the con can even pay the postage.

This should have been done a week ago, preferably two weeks ago. But I didn't get most submissions until *two weeks* after the deadline. The person with the best "on-time" rate had hers to me on the day it was due, at 21:30.

There is a con-com meeting today, at 3 pm.

That reminds me, I need to buy a long-arm stapler and ask the nice man at the local PO whether it's still ok to mail folded newsletters naked.

Ummm, not unless you put a seal tab across the open part. The fold needs to be at the bottom when you are looking at the address side.

Totally misparsed this the first time I read it... Wondered why you would want to be naked while posting the newsletter... ravan, of course, made no such mistake... :)
