So in January, I had my fuel rail replaced. $600.
A few weeks ago, I started smelling gas whenever I stopped at a light, and when I got out of the car. On a Sunday (my day off), I opened the hood, and then started the car.
Yikes!! One of my fuel injectors was literally spraying fuel onto my engine as it leaked! So I parked it, waiting for payday (which was yesterday).
Today, I called the shop for an estimate on replacing the injectors (all of them, since they're all the same age, and probably messed too). $900.00!!!!! The parts alone are $119 *each*, for a total of $714!!
So a big chunk of my check goes flying away. Waaaaaaah!!
At least I have the $$.
