I want property. Specifically, retirement, retreat, vacation property in Northern California or Oregon. It would be nice if it had at least a mobile home or shack on it, but it isn't absolutely neccessary. Minimum 1 acre, or more. Septic is OK, power is needed, net is a must.

Wish I could help you on the search, but I can help (I think) with some other info.

When we lived in Reno, before things went kablooey, I was looking into putting a wind and/or solar generator on the property. The initial outlay was a bit pricey, but nearly all the research I did seemed to indicate that it paid for itself within five years. Since we were on a well as well as septic, the wind/solar also worked the well pump. A lot of my research was more than six years ago and there have been some advancements in the field, so it might be easier to find the info now.

The advantage of a wind/solar combination was that you could generate power regardless of the type of weather.

I have a friend who has an acre of cursed land we decided to walk away form this weekend. He is gonna sell it. But if someone wanted to pour a LOT of shamanic magic into the land to cleanse it, and make it habitable, it's off the grid, but has phone/dialup, and satellite internet is possible. But the land has had some seriously bad shit tied to it for a very long time, and it was too much for us to handle alone...

But there are tons of places here in the Boulder Creek area that are a better fit anyhow, and there is even a hous eon 5 acres down the road from me with power, comcast internet/cable, well water, and septic...

Toxic spell dump cleanups I can do.

Thing is, I'm looking low budget, not valley prices.
