THANK YOU for sticking up for me and taking time to do so in poor_skills! I finally deleted the post, because I was getting physically ill from the 25 comments per minute I was getting. I am sorry, but I DO get angry and defensive when I am ganged-up on by a hundred people telling me THEY know better than I possibly ever could, and I need to get rid of the one thing I can't live without because I am such a horrible pet owner. I LOVE your comment: Especially when your vet tells you that the "best" is a premium food that they happen to sell... and you believe it.
My vet sells Science Diet. The one thing I never believed him on is when he told me SD is the best food you can get. When there is no meat listed in the top ingredients at all, I believe. But my IAMS, which has the first 3 ingredients being MEAT, can't possibly be good enough! I am supposed to only feed her top-sirloin!

If I followed that dictum, my cats would eat better than I do. ;-)
