*Boing* Well, I've passed the technical hurdles for the job I interviewed for today. I got on well with the three people I'd be working with. Now all they have to do is finalize the paperwork... It's not a done deal yet, but they do need a linux geek soon - the existing people are overloaded.
The job? Tweaking Linux and shaving it down for embedded applications. One of the people I interviewed with is a woman who's been in the unix field longer than I have. Seriously geek cool.
Now off to do a brain suck on the web for embedded stuff.
