Now, everyone who knows me knows I am a typo queen. But lately I have been doing a really weird set of typoi: substitutions of "a" for "e", and "c" for "s", and vice-versa. No rhyme or reason, not even homonyms or anything. I catch them, usually, along with the "n"/"m", "o"/"p", and "f"/"g" type swaps (keyboard misplacement), the letter "reverasls" (reversals), extra "letteras" (letters), and the odd double letter switchout things like "ood" (odd), "leeter" (letter) and "slepp" (sleep).

Now, if I can do that, and it's a chronic problem, why can't people take the time to fix things like "censurship", "teh", and stuff like that? It's not like they're all brain damaged dyslexics who've had strokes and type with one hand!

I've been seeing a lot of people doing teh on purpose. Usually in combo with words that end in x0r. It's a fashion.

These are the people 10 yrs younger than me. Not the @-'-,-- and <3 kids.

I've been spelling my own name wrong lately, both in typing and handwritten. Typing I get letters transposed. Handwritten I keep leaving letters out.

I don't know why you are making more errors yourself lately--unless it's another sign of stress. I don't know why I type so badly--unless it's my overall klutziness, which is actually quite likely.

Sorry, I don't catch all my typos here on LJ, or in e-mails. I do try ... but I'm recognizable from nick to nick by my lousy typing. Not much to be done about it, I'm afraid. I do try.
