The FBI is now visiting libraries to get records of what people read, and the law makes it a criminal offense for librarians to disclose the details or extent of the data that was obtained (with a secretly issued warrant with an easy justification process). This in spite of recent (Supreme??) court rulings against subpeonas of booksellers records.

See FBI Begins Visiting Libraries if you think I'm crying wolf.

Or...
"The Anarchists Cookbook"
"Fahrenheit 451"
"Soldier of Fortune" Magazine
any book on excitable materials, air/fuel explosions, blackpowder weapons, counterinsurgency techniques, privacy, do it yourself encryption, codes and ciphers, and/or crop dusting.

Nevermind that terrorists don't get library cards - they read and make notes in the library, anonymously.

We have met the enemy, and he is us (our (s)"elected" government).
