If you didn't start a Live Journal for the sole purpose of having some dingbat tell you to put some sillyass one line description in your journal, ignore anything that looks like this.

Guess what, folks? I'm not a "teenager" posting about "high school angst" (like is mentioned here - thanks Mena, fuck you too.) In fact, I'm over 40, a working IT professional, and not some sort of dysfunctional wanker.

Why do I have an LJ?:

• I needed an outlet for my pseudononymous rantings,
• A lot of my friends were on Live Journal, and I could keep up with them more easily
• I needed something where it was easy to post from anywhere
• I needed a journal that didn't require maintenance/administration time
• I needed somewhere where I could at least try to write something every day, even if it was drivel, to build my writing habit
• Plus other random reasons that I don't recall offhand
