Phooie!

24 hours, booted into windows, doing re-downloads onto a drive that turns out to have been f*cked up. Discover that there isn't room for all of the files - because of leftover bits of other stuff. Reformat the drive, boot into linux, do an ordinary ftp for the downloads. Problem is, regular ftp doesn't tell me how much has downloaded, or how much longer 'till the next file, and mget wants confirmations. It may be a long night...

The "prompt" command toggles whether or not
mget asks for confirmations. So you could type:

ftp ftp.foo.com
<log in, change dir>
bin
prompt
mget *

BTW, hi :-) I didn't know you had an LJ until
I saw "ravan" while glancing through the Warrior
Test logs :-)

Thanx
