Run For Governor of CA??

A US Citizen - check (born in Indiana)
Have lived here for over 5 years - check (30 years)
Not a felon - check (never been arrested)
Over 18 - check (see above)
Filing Fee $3500 - check (if I want to spend my savings)
65+ registered CA voter signatures - uhhh, I don't think I know that many people that I can get hold of in 10 days

But the job pays more than I'm getting now, and it has benefits... ;)

65 signatures is much less than I would have guessed.

It's the $3500 filing fee that would stop me.

I'll vote for you if you appoint me to some good state position :)
one where I don't have to live in Sacramento all the time preferably.

I'm not looking forward to having any decent actual choices in this election, oh well.

I understand, it does rather come across like grown men fighting like school boys over who gets the basketball first!

But I do NOT want the registration on my 3 cars tripled (gads, we'd have to give up water and power!)
