Voted today - dropped off my absentee ballot at a polling place - saved a stamp, made sure it got there in time.

I am really nervous about Prop 8. It's the worst, most vicious piece of work that I've seen in a while, and the propaganda that its supporters have put out is nauseating. If it passes, the only people who will gain are lawyers and religious bigots.

After hearing a news report of a Yes on 8 guy attacking a teenaged girl with a No on 8 sign, I realized that this is just another form of gay-bashing, using the cover of the legal system. I knew it was bad, but I really realized the full covert intent this time.
