I last moved to the bay area 37 years ago (was 10 then) but lived here for about 4 years total previous to that so I figure while not technically native it's more than close enough (only 4th & 5th grade were not in bay area public schools (including 2 BAs)). We've both been here for longer than many natives have been alive.

And yes, we transplants from SoCal hate it even more than NoCal natives. There is usually a reason we moved north. Good Taste!
