Anyone know if there's a Brain Injury/Damage community here on LJ?? If not, is there interest in starting one?

Membership would tend to be people who had various forms of brain damage due to head trauma, stroke, or severe oxygen deprivation.

there is a community I'm a part of (havent looked at it in awhile) but it's for checking to see if there's a community that fits your search.

Well, I did a search on both "brain injury" and "TBI" as interests, and there was only some dippy closed community for some guys trust fund.

To start a community, you need to generate a code, start another "personal journal" and then convert it into a community journal with you as maintainer. I've got 1 code as a free user. I now get to decide if I want to burn it for this community, since it obviously doesn't exist yet.

the community interests would be:
brain injury, brain damage, TBI, ABI, MBI, head injury, stroke, aphasia

Can anyone think of any others??

I am a brain injury survivor. =o) actually had 3 TBI's within 6 months. I have seizures now as a result. I also broke my neck. =o(

let me know too if you find one. or can we start one ourselves????
