Ah, trolls!

There's nothing better to relieve stress than to casually flame a troll who tries to pass something stupid off as a "joke", and who gets upset when people don't find it funny, or on-topic. While I don't have time to play with many trolls, sometimes one pops up on a slow day and just waggles itself in front of me, enticing me into firing up the ol' flamethrower. If they are a good one, I can stick my tongue firmly in cheek and play with them, at least until we both get banned...

Problem is, too much troll and not enough content can ruin a community here on LJ, just like UseNet.

Maybe I should start communities specifically keyed to argument and/or trolling about specific issues. Or some sort of playground for purveyors of sick jokes, so that others can appreciate or flame the jokers. Call it "flaming_jokers", or "flamemyjokeplease" or even "jest_flames".

So, wha'd'ya think?

That takes a lot of the fun out of it. But yeah, I get your point, but that's why they have the ability to ban.

Maybe I should make some sock-puppets to play with in asshole comms. Naaaaaah, too much work.

Please. If you value what little sanity I have left at all. Just...no.

I have a well-balanced throwing cat, and I'm not afraid to use her.
