Birthday Gifts for Grandma

So, with the height issue, I've been looking for short walkers with seats. The one I ID'd before had a minimum of 32", which I'm not sure is short enough. Heck, I doubt the generic hospital one she has now is short enough to be comfy.

Today I found a "junior" size that adjusts between 29 and 33 inches. This may be low enough. Then there's this one, which comes in a "super low" height, but doesn't give details.

I don't know yet, but I imagine it will be in the nature of $200 or so depending on where I get it and who puts it in. I figured Bill and I would make part of it some of her birthday gift. I just discovered the problem yesterday. I managed to get the stinky water pretty well pumped out today. Now I just have to find someone to look at it but I think it has had it at the ripe age of 33. All Gma really wants for her birthday is for you to come see her. Really. That is it. A recent photo of you that she could put on her shelf to show to her friends would also be nice. She can hardly see it, but would show it off I know.

Oh, while you are here, do you want to have your hair washed, set, blow dried, styled, and/or cut? If so, I will make an appt for you with us as we go on Tuesday afternoon. If you are like me, having someone wash your hair for you is pure heaven! Love you! Hugs

I can afford to kick in some for the dishwasher, then. I've been pinching my pennies to make sure I had plenty $$$ for this trip.

Sounds good. I probably don't need it cut yet, but having someone else wash it is always great. I'll be sure to bring my fragrance free shampoo.

Oh, did you get the email with my itinerary? Also, did you say you needed a hard drive? I might have an 80 Gb one around that isn't being used...

Can always use another hard drive. Don't know what is wrong with the one puter for gma yet. Do know that my maxtor says it has a problem. Still works OK, but need to back it all up soon.

The spare is a 60 Gb, not an 80. Good for backups.

I think all mine are still eide with win2000. Don't know SATA yet. Maybe you can 'splain while you are at gmas.

We are watching Dennis and hope he stays on current course with no right turns. We'll have rain on Sunday but shouldn't get much by way of the winds. Pray to the gods and I will too that it misses us and gets blown to smithereens instead. It's awfully early for big 'canes. They usually start to bug us late August through October, Do you need driving directions?
