Birthday Gifts for Grandma

So, with the height issue, I've been looking for short walkers with seats. The one I ID'd before had a minimum of 32", which I'm not sure is short enough. Heck, I doubt the generic hospital one she has now is short enough to be comfy.

Today I found a "junior" size that adjusts between 29 and 33 inches. This may be low enough. Then there's this one, which comes in a "super low" height, but doesn't give details.

Good luck finding what you're looking for!

Ravan, Gma really needs to have the back not roll. She does need new tennis balls for her current walker. That can be done for a whole lot less money. She has a problem with brakes. Hell, she doesn't even remember to put the brakes on her wheelchair much of the time. Having to set the ones on the walker might be beyond her ability right now. Also, if you want to get her that, let's see if we can do it through her usual supplier as a replacement or additional need and get most of it paid for by her insurance or medicare. Think about it. I will check with them and see if that would be possible. Why spend your money when you don't need to do so.

It looks like I will be helping gma buy a new dishwasher. The pump in her old 33 year old Maytag is not doing the job. I will be spending tomorrow trying to find someone who even works on dishwashers or will install one if I go get the sucker. At least I found a plumber to fix her one shower, I think. LOL Through the week and likely most of next Wednesday I will be getting your room ready by moving much of the stuff that the "helpful -NOT" housecleaner stacked in there out onto the porche where it belongs in the first place. The computer I got to work on for her, maybe, will have to find a home in that room though as the porch is not airconditioned. LOL (Unless we leave the door open, that is, and we don't usually do that. }

Love you . Counting the Days. Left you a cell message with erzatz directions. Call if you need more, or just to talk. Hugs
