I love it when people get what's coming to them!

I got a call this evening from one of my former coworkers. It seems that this morning the asshole VP who set me up to be fired at my last job "left the company" (read: got fired!) Needless to say, a lot of people around there are in much better moods...

Would it be too arrogant of me to say that you don't fuck me and mine over and not pay the price? This is not the first time that a jerk boss that shafted me has got their comuppance and I have heard about it.

Second generation, son of a dot-bomb. The company was an ASP that reinvented itself as a turnkey software provider. Nice software, bad support model. Part of the "we do all of the support" thing was from this guy.

I was contract, so I didn't have to worry about options. I've never made a dime on options, and these companies don't understand why I'm not gaga over them as part of my "compensation". Phantom money, at best.
