I may be a crazy conspiracy theorist, but one of my first thoughts on the day it happened was "Reichstag Fire" - an act of terror allowed/encouraged to enable the solidification of government control.

I still have that suspicion - seeing what has happened since, and who has gained the most in terms of power and money (and it ain't Al Queda...)

A suspicion is still a suspicion until all of the facts have been aired. Give the right people immunity in the trials of Bush, Rove, Cheney and Rumsfeld, and the truth will be forthcoming.
