Home again
So, I got home from the hospital last night, and went and got my scripts. After an hour of walking and sitting (mostly sitting) I felt like I'd been forced to do all the situps I could do, plus ten more. Needless to say, I crashed and burned.
One of the people from work sent me a lovely floral arrangement here at home. I also even had people from work visit me in the hospital!! This company is a keeper, IMO.
If you wrote anything of interest on LJ or in my mail over the last three days, you can rest assured that I haven't seen it, and may miss it due to my enforced packet deprivation, and now limited endurance.
The uterus was, in fact, large. The doctor was astounded - took over 15 pieces to get it out. The ovaries were fine, so she left them. I'd told her that the thing was huge, and she'd doubted me. Knowing your own body well is amusing sometimes.

Nah, you didn't miss much. Livejournal is now in SanFran. I was made ruler of the universe but it got boring so I abdicated. Bush was caught humping a chimp, a gay chimp even, but Karl Rove waved his magic spin-wand and all the bad news went away. And The Aliens invaded Huddersfield, but pushed off back home once they got a good look at the place.
Fairly quiet really.

I have really annoying questions to ask that you so don't have to answer until you feel better (even if this means weeks! I can wait).
What does laparoscopic surgery feel like after everything has been done? And do you think it would feel the same (meaning the pain after surgery) around your upper abdomen the way it feels around your lower abdomen?
And if you have your ovaries..and not a uterus..and if you havent gone through menopause yet...how does the whole period thing work?
Annnd I am done with annoying questions. (^_^)
