BayCon Blahs
I was consideringetting a room at the hotel, and relaxing for three days. Then I realized that it wasn't worth the cost, when I am rather ambivalent about attending a stalker con. If Mike S would pull his head out about the real names on badges thing, I might feel differently.
As it is, I'm seriously considering ghosting the con, and not paying him a dime, not wearing a badge with my real name and city of residence for any stranger to see. Even if I do go, I will use pseudonyms on my badge, and if he wants to kick me out, fine, fuck him.
I have nearly been stalked before - the thing that kept the nut from finding my house was that he couldn't find my pseudonym, and thus my address, in the phone book. My roomie also has a unique name, and a loony ex-husband.
The only reason I'm going at all is for Michele's memorial, which apparently is being "planned" by P. Last I heard it was going to be in the quiet bar, which doesn't require a badge for admission.
