X... argh.

A quickie: Updating my second system, getting the #$^%$%$#& X server to work. Turns out the PC-Tech M787CLR motherboard runs X fine in Debian Woody if you specify the Trident Cyberblade video card - this is undocumented anywhere, but the autoprobe when you startx puts it into the /var/log/X... .log file as being found when probing. Took all afternoon to get this thing happy.
