The Saga Continues...
More fun and games in my life, and an unhappy note...
Well, I got up, took my roomie to work, and made it back for the EDD phone call. I talked to a real nice guy named Anthony, who used to do recruiting, and he emailed me his list of "places to look", including where he used to recruit for.
I then read my email, applied for a job (looked at more) and all of that baloney. I laid down for a nap at 13:00. Sure enough, my roomie called for an early pickup at 13:30. The story of my life. I went and got her, came home, sat her in front of the computer to do her homework, and took my nap anyway.
Got to class at 18:00, and spent most of the evening frantically scribbling notes as the teacher said "write this down", and proceeded to spew. My arm and hand hurt.
We finally got our homework back - Arggh! The site we submitted it to totally buggered the formatting and spacing. So I just emailed it off to the guy, and I have to go to their damn lab on Saturday morning.
Stopped at the grocery store on the way home from class, called home to see if anything was needed, and we found out that a friend of ours had had a minor stroke/TIA, and was in bloody Kaiser hospital, supposedly for observation. If she's not home tomorrow, we get to go visit her in the hospital after the roomie gets off of work.
You know, this has been a very busy, but unproductive week, and it's only Thursday.
